Join us at this year’s annual Angel Tree Service to mark pregnancy and neonatal loss

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust’s annual Angel Tree baby memorial service will take place as a virtual event on Saturday 5 December, from 3pm.

This is an opportunity for people to come together to remember all those babies lost at any stage during pregnancy or soon after birth. It doesn’t have to be recent as some people have been attending every year for decades.

It is being run by our chaplaincy team, who will be on hand to provide support. Our bereavement midwife, Keiley Tuck, will also be at the service.

The service is usually held at a church in Taunton but it has been moved online to Zoom this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing rules.

If you would like to attend the service, email chaplains.acute@somersetft.nhs.uk for the Zoom access details. If you include an address we will send a physical order of service and an angel tag, which can be returned for us to place on the tree at our chapel before the service or any time afterwards, up to Christmas. Alternatively, we can write the name(s) on an angel tag for you, which will be placed on the tree during the service.

For more information, or if you would like to have a baby’s name remembered during the service, contact Musgrove’s chaplaincy team on 01823 342515 or chaplains.acute@somersetft.nhs.uk.
