The main labour ward at Musgrove Park provides consultant-led (senior doctor ) care if you have or develop medical or obstetric problems during your pregnancy. You can come into the maternity unit by the main entrance. Come in the through the main door, walk up the slope straight ahead and press the intercom button on the left hand side for delivery suite, to let us know you are here.
We encourage limiting the number of visitors during your stay on our labour ward to your partner and another person important to you such as your mum. This helps keep the unit quiet and comfortable for you and your baby.
