Meet the Team

  • Hello, my name is Marie Spink and I'm the Team Manager

I have worked in patient services for over 11 years. During this time, I have learnt the importance of a person- centred approach. Understanding what really matters most to people, is vital, so that they can become the driving force, to improve their own health & wellbeing. Our communities too, have a pivotal role to play in improving the health & wellness of our neighbourhoods. I am passionate about strengthening our communities to be the best they can, staying healthy, happy, and independent.

  • Hello, my name is Lynne Carey and I'm a Health Coach Clinician

I have been a qualified nurse for the past thirty years. I have 12 years of experience in Operating theatres but for the last eighteen years have been working as a practice nurse, the first 12 years in Birmingham and the last six years her in Taunton. My previous employment was a band 3 HCA on an acute elderly ward. I was a dementia champion for eight years and it is something I am very passionate about. I see my Health Coaching role as a way of helping people to identify ways to improve their own health, by using a person centered approach and working towards achievable health related goals that are set by the person themselves.

  • Hello, my name is Tom Lewis and I'm A Senior Health Coach

I have always been very passionate about health and wellbeing of people within my community, whether that be physical, mental, or emotional. My role as a Health Coach is to work alongside individuals in the wider community, who would like to take proactive steps to better self-manage their physical and or mental health. The steps to “Success” can look very different to each person and I take a “person centred” approach to empower individuals to set self-identified goals and encourage them to take ownership of them.
