You may notice that our private patient services at Musgrove Park Hospital are now being referred to as Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Private rather than Parkside.
This is a temporary change while we invest in and develop our private patient facilities to further enhance the experience we provide for patients. The change also reflects feedback we have received that the name “Parkside” can sometimes be confusing, as a number of different services are located within the Parkside unit.
Your care will not be affected
Please be assured that the care you receive will remain exactly the same.
You will continue to have access to the same experienced consultants, high standards of care, and dedicated private patient service that you would expect from us.
During this period, your appointment, treatment or procedure will not take place within the Parkside Unit itself. Suitable accommodation will be arranged elsewhere on the Musgrove Park Hospital site, and our team will ensure you have all the information you need before attending.
Investing in a better patient experience
We are currently investing in improvements to further enhance our private patient facilities and overall experience. As a result, some information and images previously featured on this website have been temporarily removed while these developments are underway.
