Our trust ranked 20th overall amongst 134 in England

NHS England has published a new interactive dashboard that enables patients, carers, families and the public to see how the performance of our trust’s services, and our performance overall, compares with other providers in England.

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is currently ranked 20th overall out of the 134 trusts in England that the framework compares us against. Our trust has been placed in segment 2 with an overall average metric score across all domains of 2.17.

Our trust provides a unique range of services. The dashboard enables you to compare our performance in all metrics against other organisations that provide those services.

The dashboard and league tables show that our performance compares well with others, but they also highlight areas where we are working to improve. Those areas include the percentage of patients waiting over 52 weeks; the percentage of urgent cancer referrals to receive a definitive diagnosis within 4 weeks; and the average number of days from discharge ready date and actual discharge date.
