Celebrating our stars at the Our Somerset Colleague Awards 2025

Around 200 guests walked the red carpet at the Our Somerset Colleague Awards 2025 last Thursday evening (3 July) – an evening dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements of our colleagues who go above and beyond in providing compassionate care, and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives, every day.

With themes of person-centred care, transformation and innovation, and accessibility demonstrated throughout, the event highlighted the remarkable contributions of individuals and teams who embody our trust’s values of Kindness, Respect and Teamwork and commitment to delivering exceptional care.

There were 12 awards in total, 11 awards with three finalists each, and our pinnacle award of the night, the Chair’s Award. The evening was led by our fabulous director of allied health professions, Clare Boobyer-Jones, and each award was presented by a member of our executive team, or one of our sponsors.

A huge well done to all our finalists, but a special congratulations to our winners…

Of course, evenings like this wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors, and our sincere thanks go to our headline sponsor, Archus, and category sponsors,  Bevan Brittan, Kier, Liaison Financial, Prime, Pulse Outdoor Media, and Synlab, whose generous support made this celebration possible. Their partnership enabled us to honour the dedication and impact of our colleagues in a truly meaningful way.
