Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The Intensive Care Unit is an area of the hospital where seriously ill patients receive specialised care. The unit at Yeovil Hospital is situated on level 5. It has 11 beds and is designed to provide intensive care and high dependency care in single rooms and open bays.

The critical care team includes a wide range of health care professionals working together to deliver expert care. Our team is also experienced in ensuring our patients families are supported while their loved one is in our care.

Visiting Times: Visitors are welcome between 10am to 8pm seven days a week. Children from immediate family may visit but this is at the discretion of the nurse in charge Please speak to the ward team to discuss.
