Physiotherapists help to restore movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness or by developmental or other disability (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, 2016).

We provide specialist skills in a variety of medical areas including:

• Respiratory
• Musculoskeletal
• Neurological.

We assess and treat patients with a wide variety of conditions aiming to promote independence and return to usual activities.

During normal working hours (8:30am to 4.30pm Mon-Fri) you will find our physiotherapists on each ward in the hospital. Alternatively the team can be contacted via the ward receptionist.

GPs can refer patients via eRs. Consultants can refer via a letter or completed referral form.
