Since 1995 Art for Life has been showing a rolling calendar of exhibitions at Musgrove Park Hospital and now offers five exhibitions per year in the Musgrove Gallery on the 1st floor of the Queens Building and on The Wall, adjacent to the Concourse. To date we have put on over 70 exhibitions with the aim of bringing a mixture to the hospital of both professional and amateur artists, individuals and groups and a range of media such as print, painting, photography and mixed media, including textiles.
The outpatients gallery at Yeovil District Hospital displays temporary exhibitions by local artists showing different photographs, paintings and prints for a three month period. We have a very creative workforce and several members of staff have exhibited here in the past.
A contribution from the sale of artwork is donated to Art for Life’s charitable funds.
