Sitting within the Trust’s Capital Projects team, the Art for Life team comprises four part time members of staff – Art and Design Manager, Creative Health Coordinator, Art and Design Project Officer and Exhibition Coordinator.

Lisa Harty joined Art for Life in 2013 and in 2022 became the Art and Design Manager. As well as managing the team and overseeing the programme, Lisa takes the lead role in Art for Life’s projects to improve the environment; working with teams and colleagues to create the best environment possible for our patients, staff and visitors.

Caroline Barnes joined Art for Life in April 2023, having previously been the Arts Coordinator at Yeovil Hospital.  Caroline, as Creative Health Coordinator, plans and delivers Art for Life’s participatory programme; working with artists using various art forms to offer opportunities for our patients and staff to be involved in arts projects and events.

Emma Quick is the Art and Design Project Officer. She started working at Musgrove Park Hospital in 1992 and joined the Art for Life team in 2006.  Emma project manages smaller value environmental projects and supports the Art and Design Manager on larger capital schemes.

Zoe Snape is Art for Life’s freelance Exhibition Coordinator, joining the team in June 2025.  Zoe organises nine exhibitions a year to enhance the healthcare environment for the benefits of patients and staff across Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital.

Art for Life works with the guidance and support of an Arts Committee which brings expertise to the table from within, and out with, of the Trust, to support our work. We are extremely grateful to a small number of volunteers who offer up their time to work with us on different aspects of our programme.
