Smell or taste problems

When you had your illness you may have noticed that you lost your sense of taste or smell. Some people also say that they noticed things tasted different or smelled different. While others notice they can taste or smell things which aren’t really there. How can I improve my sense of taste or smell?

It is important to choose foods that appeal to you, but continue to retry foods as your taste preferences may change. The nerves involved in taste or smell can act as though they are asleep so helping them to wake up by retraining them is important. Retraining the smell also helps to retrain the taste.
