Arts for Life
Art for Life manages a significant collection of artworks, across all our sites, that have been very kindly loaned or gifted, commissioned or purchased, over a considerable number of years.
Staging temporary exhibitions across our acute sites has become an important and popular strand of our work which offers opportunities to generate income, showcase local, regional and national artists alongside celebrating our projects and the creativity of our colleagues including our staff exhibition, Hidden Talents. We will be seeking new opportunities to display artwork in our community hospitals and continuing to explore opportunities to offer creative activities and workshops that link into the exhibition themes. Being part of a growing art in healthcare network, we actively seek opportunities to share exhibitions with other hospital settings.
Information about our current exhibitions can be found here together with details of how to purchase artworks currently on display in our exhibitions spaces. 30% of all sales from any exhibition are donated to Art for Life to support further projects across the hospital. If you are not able to buy an artwork, then another way to support Art for Life is through a donation to the hospital charity.
