Cancer Studies

Cancer Research is at the heart of improving outcomes for patients diagnosed with cancer. Staff in Cancer Care at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust are passionate about research and to giving the best possible care to our patients. We have 12 dedicated Cancer Research Nurses and a Research Radiographer working at Musgrove Park Hospital, and 5 dedicated Cancer Research Nurses at Yeovil Hospital who are all supported by Trial Administrators, Clinical Trials Officers and Assistant Practitioners.

If you are receiving cancer treatment at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, please do ask your Doctor or Nurse Specialist about Clinical Trials. Our Doctors and Nurses will let you know about any specific trials that may be an option as part of your cancer care.
