Ward 9

Ward 9

If you have blood cancer or a blood disorder, you will be treated on ward 9. We give chemotherapy and stem cell infusions and we treat you here if you have neutropenia (abnormally low level of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, which makes you extremely vulnerable to a serious infection). Patients on Ward 9 typically stay for about a 2 – weeks and we work hard to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.

Visiting Times: due to the COVID 19 pandemic, visiting is currently restricted at MPH. Please refer to our homepage for the current advice or contact the ward directly.
