Cancer services
If you have blood cancer or a blood disorder, you will be treated on ward 9.
We give chemotherapy and stem cell infusions and we treat you here if you have neutropenia (abnormally low level of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, which makes you extremely vulnerable to a serious infection).
Patients on Ward 9 typically stay for about 2-weeks and we work hard to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, visiting is currently restricted at Musgrove Park Hospital. Please refer to our homepage for the current advice or contact the ward directly.
