Anger and Irritability Course

This online course teaches skills for managing symptoms of anger and irritability. The course is run by 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP’s) and runs for one hour per week, for 5 sessions.

Courses & Groups
The techniques taught are based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The course is structured as follows:

SESSION 1:

Understanding Anger and Irritability.

SESSION 2:

Dealing with the physical symptoms of anger.

SESSION 3:

Unhelpful thinking and anger.

SESSION 4:

Changing our behaviour “ doing things differently".

SESSION 5:

Learning assertiveness skills. For each group, there is a 30-minute orientation session 2 weeks before the start of the webinar to introduce you to the facilitators, how to use the webinar platform and what to expect from the course.
